The last few weeks have been crazy when it comes to news, rumors and Speculation around the Cupertino company. After numerous rumors have pointed to the month of September for the presentation of the next iPhone, there finally is an official word from the Apple, confirming the highly anticipated event ever for the next day September 12.
This confirmation of the completion of an event from Apple appeared, as usual, with an invitation to the press. It's already a classic Apple make simple invitations, carefully crafted to give some clues about the main theme of the event.
This time Apple has managed to be even simpler than the usual leaving minimal information about what to expect from the event. The invitation only shows the words “It’s almost here", with the date of the event, the 12th, and in the shadow of the day of the event you can see the number 5.
This 5, the only "clue" that Apple makes this call, indicates almost beyond doubt that eventually we'll see the iPhone 5, the next model of smartphone from Apple.
Regarding the characteristics of the next iPhone model, many rumors run all over the internet, with many photographs, components, and even Structural parts appear a bit everywhere, but until moment there is nothing officially confirm any of characteristics pointed out so far.
The feature discussed but is undoubtedly increasing the size of the screen. It is speculated that Apple will increase the screen to about 4 inches, increasing it only in height, maintaining the current width. Obviously also expected to traditional improvements in processor, RAM, eventually cameras front and back.
The level of design and construction, and increased vertical size (due to the increased screen) and decrease in thickness, it is expected that the iPhone 5 has a unibody construction (frame made of a single piece), Aluminium, with a new dock and its input connector and phones (3.5 mm jack) go to the bottom next to the dock.
And continuing with rumors, speaks also of a new design for earphones that come with the iPhone, using nano-SIM cards, New connectors for the whole family of iDevices, possibility of updated line of iPod's, specifically with the iPod Nano camera and WiFi, and even a possible iPad mini until next month October.
Everything indicates that this date is also the version that will be released iOS6 end, expecting also some news in this field, complement what Apple has already made in June, and possibly an extension of the new features to more devices.
