Quantal Quetzal ubuntu 12.10 Beta 2 just came out ...

…and we have roadmap for Ubuntu 13.04
As had already been announced by Canonical, September 27 corresponds to the release of the second beta release of Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal. Alongside this announcement, the Canoninal also informed, via wiki, the roadmap of the new version of Ubuntu, which is Ubuntu 4.13 which final version will be available April 25, 2013.
Let us know what's new in Ubuntu 12.10 Beta 2 and Quantal Quetzal also the timetable for the various versions of Ubuntu 13.04.





In April Mark Shutleworth announced on their blog (here) the start (official) of the development of Ubuntu 12:10 and that it had the Quantal name Quetzal. According to Mark Shutleworth, version 12.10 vai serve to redesigning the interface of Ubuntu and hence the choice of name Quantal Quetzal (as always, the choice of an adjective and a name animal). The choice of "Quantal" due to the fact that in Ubuntu 12.10 be introduced virtualization technology of Quantum Networks- virtual network stack for OpenStack.
Today Canonical released Ubuntu 12.10 Beta 2 Quantal Quetzal brings the following new features:

• Unity was updated to version 6.6.0
  • More organized, more beautiful and functional changes many, graphic and structural

  • Several bug fixes and improvements implemented in DAsh

• New X.Org adopted, which includes an RC xserver 1.13
• Gnome has been updated to version 3.5.92
• Accessibility Features enabled by default so
• Wallpaper default was changed

• Linux kernel 3.5.4
• Python 3.2
• LightDM now has support for remote logins

Regarding the Roadmap for Ubuntu 13.04, here is the calendar whose final version is scheduled to be available on 25 April 2013.
