Securifi Almond - The first wireless router with touch screen

Wireless networks, Wireless, have gained considerable importance in the world of communications.

How does not require the use of cables to connect devices within an infrastructure, makes this technology of choice for personal or business use.

And now with mobile devices to invade the mobile market / technology, makes it evident that the massive expansion of Wi-Fi technology

The Securifi, a company specializing in electronic equipment founded in 2011, presented at CES 2012 the Almond, the first router with touch screen.

The same idea was taken by D-Link at CES 2010 that had a fully functional prototype of the D-Link DIR-865 Touch, a wireless router with a 3-inch touchscreen. However, was never shown the final product.

The Almond has a TFT screen of 2.8 "with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and all settings are made from this small touch screen without requiring the intervention of a computer.

Despite being a final product, it is the first version of this concept, and because of this, and compared with other routers on the market, it is quite simple and with few features, eg missing the dual-band, supporting both Gigabit more LAN ports (many of them bring four), but offers speeds up to 300Mbps that some do not offer more sophisticated.
