Vodafone Portugal will monitor the networks of other operators

Vodafone Portugal has been chosen by Vodafone Group to accommodate the monitoring center of networks of Spain and other European countries. Designed by Atlantic NOC (Network Operations Center), this is one of only two Network Operations Centers in the Vodafone Group in Europe.

In Atlantic NOC, located in the Headquarters of Vodafone Portugal, the Park of Nations, will work approximately 150 people, of whom about 120 are new employees. The recruitment phase is already underway and the most popular profiles are engineers and technicians.

The NOC Atlantic begins its activity this week, when the supervision of the Spanish network begins to shift to the Operations Centre in Portugal. By March 2013, the Center will extend the scope of the monitoring networks of other European countries.

At the base of choice for our country were the recognition of skills in this area of Vodafone Portugal, the existence of specialized professionals with high know-how and good knowledge of languages ​​required (English and Spanish).
