Apple Releases Mac OS X Mountain Lion

Mac OS X Mountain Lion was taken for granted and many of their news, probably the most vocal, were presented in detail.

The anxiety was much the final version and is finally available to the public will see Mac OS X 10.8, better known as Mountain Lion. You can download using your account on the Mac App Store.





The Mountain Lion has more than 200 innovative new features including the Messages application, Notification Center, Sharing for the entire system, integration with Facebook, Dictation, Power Nap, Mirroring AirPlay, Game Center, and improved security of the Gatekeeper.

Notification Center
The Mountain Lion streamlines the submission of notifications, and the Notification Center can see all your notifications OS X and other applications on a single site.

You can customize applications to send you notifications, the type of notifications you receive, and how many items are shown on the Notification Center. When you want to focus on your work or watch a movie, you can choose to temporarily suspend all notifications.

Power Nap
The Mountain Lion also features the Power Nap, a new and innovative way to keep your MacBook Pro and MacBook Air Retina display (second and third generation) is updated while in sleep mode.

The Power Nap automatically updates applications Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, Notes, Photo Stream, Find My Mac and Documents in the Cloud, and when plugged in, download system updates and backs up your Mac using Time Machine.

Gatekeeper
The revolutionary new Gatekeeper functionality makes downloading software from the Internet safer by tracking which applications can be installed on your Mac

You can choose to install applications from anywhere, as it does today, or for maximum safety, set the gatekeeper to allow only applications of the Mac App Store.

The default configuration allows you to install the Mac App Store applications and applications from manufacturers that have a single Apple Developer ID. In addition to seeking daily security updates, the Mountain Lion includes application sandboxing to prevent ill-behaved applications compromise your system and kernel ASLR for greater protection against buffer overflow attacks.
